Japan's popular comic book character, robotic cat 'Doraemon', was titled Japan's first Anime Ambassador by Japanese Foreign Minister, Masahiko Komura on Wednesday, March 19, 2008.

From now on, Doraemon will promote Japan's pop culture to the world.
