Have you ever seen a Japanese commercial? They are basically just a bunch of American celebrities (ex. Tom Cruise and Arnold Schwarzenegger) talking in Japanese and not making any sense. It's quite amusing.

The reason American celebrities only shoot commercials in Japan is because doing so in America will lower their image. Doing commercials in America is embarrassing, compared to doing them in Japan. They also get paid a lot.

This video was made to make fun of those celebrities. I guess that's what Japanese sounds like to people who don't understand it...

I've heard so many times people say,

"Oh I really want to go to Japan one day, but don't know where to go"  or  "I need to be with someone that knows their way around the party areas..."

Well, spring break is on the way. You might want to go to Asia or to some other countries instead of going to Cancun to get wasted. 

Check this site out! (Hi everywhere!) Here, you can find volunteer local tour guides. I think this is cool, because, well, basically you get to see all that Japan has to offer, with knoledgeable people FOR FREE!!!

Turban

If you live in the Chicagoland neighborhood like I do, you would know that it is nearly impossible to spend some time outside because of the crappy weather outside.

Therefore, a fun way to pass the time is origami.

I recently found out about Turban Noguchi. He makes origami out of Japanese bills. Actually, he uses the "head" of the bills and gives it a new identity.
