This is the #1 hit in Japan at the moment. They are adorable and it sounds nice. The meaning behind the song is about a separated couple asking eachother how he or she is doing. He was wondering if she is eating alright. ...Eat....?  Well, it's very Japanese. 

Japandering

Have you ever seen a Japanese commercial? They are basically just a bunch of American celebrities (ex. Tom Cruise and Arnold Schwarzenegger) talking in Japanese and not making any sense. It's quite amusing.

The reason American celebrities only shoot commercials in Japan is because doing so in America will lower their image. Doing commercials in America is embarrassing, compared to doing them in Japan. They also get paid a lot.

This video was made to make fun of those celebrities. I guess that's what Japanese sounds like to people who don't understand it...

Mother Cafe

As you may already know, "Maid Cafe" the theme restaurant that the staffs wear costumes and treat the customers as masters in a private home rather than merely as café customers is now spread to all over the country.

In Osaka, one of the famous manga stores, "Mandarake" is opening new space and hiring staffs.

If you are interested in,  you need to be;

25 years old or over.  Good at listening to people. Can acting like a MOTHER.  Yes, they are making "Mother Cafe".

....................  Their own mother is not enough or what?

In the morning, we are all busy and evrything is upside down. But everybody should start the day with a good breakfast.

So, the family friendly restaurants such as McDonald's, Starbucks, and etc. strengthens a menu for exclusive uses of breakfast all together. Soto Asa (outside / morning) has become big business. But this is all in Japan.   

They offer B.L.T wrap or freshly prepared sandwiches, and even have "Kaiten Breakfast," where the plates with the food are placed on a rotating conveyor belt that winds through the restaurant and moves past every table and counter seat. Yeah, just like Kaiten Sushi.

KEWPIE

I didn't know that "Kewpie" was created by an American lady in 1909.

Kewpie,the characters derived from the cupid is everywhere in Japan. Inside stores, restaurants, and in the houses.

Q.P Corporation is a Japanese food manufacture, famous for its mayonnaise sold in the plastic squeeze bottles with Kewpie logo. Yes, Kewpie is in the everybody's kitchen. 

I just found "Cosplay Kewpies" in a Rakuten on-line shopping. OMG!! They are so cute.

Orochi

Mitsuoka - This new small Japanese car company started to build modern Japanese cars to resemble British vehicles of the 1950s and 1960s.

And now, they have produced a concept super car the Orochi. Their production will be limited to 400 units over the next four years at a cost of around ¥10,500,000 (around $89,000 USD).

Famous owners in Britain include Wilmslow entrepreneur Spencer Davies and Watford based Communications moghul Mr. James Connolly McGuigan.

Kenji Yanobe and his works

Japanese artist Kenji Yanobe is known for his nightmarish artworks with modern industrial motifs.

Tennis no oujisama

Okay, if you are big fan of "Tennis no oujisama - Prince of tennis", here's a sad news for you.

This super hit manga of weekly Shonen Jump has ended on the 3rd. It created a big boom by a musical and an animated cartoon, filmization took down a curtain in serialization.

Serialization begins in July, 99, and it is to 40 volumes, and comics publishes 40,600,000parts. (wow)

    But the anime is still on air. Check it out, if you have not seen it.
