Nissan Skyline is known as SPEED.

GT-R  was introduced by Tokyo motor show of 2007, and attracted to the world. 

Now, a crown of Skyline has taken off. Yasuo Kusakabe reports a performance.

TOKYO INTERNATIONAL ANIME FAIR

TOKYO INTERNATIONAL ANIME FAIR / "TAF" is an annual animated cartoon synthesis trade fair, and will be held from 3/27 to 3/30 in Tokyo Big Sight.

"The trade fair" is when animated cartoon-related companies set up booths, and "the event" is a fun stage and theater screening exhibit.

Also, "Tokyo animated cartoon Award", is awarded every year to various contents commending excellent Animated Feature Films, which attracts attention from all over the world.

Sea urchin snack

Sea urchin - a popular and expensive sushi ingredient, and a flavor
that most people would not think would fit as a snack.

Well, Ka-ru (Curl) has done it. Curl is a snack that resembles cheese
puffs, and it came out with a sea urchin flavor.

The taste, however, is nothing like sea urchin, though it's also not bad. But for a mere $1.20 you can't really complain.
　

Pizza in Japan

You already know that most (Japanese) food are pretty weird, right?
Well then, here is the top 3 weirdest pizzas.

1ban:  Pizza Hut -  Gomadare Pork

Burdock, seaweed, and sesame sauce    2,600 yen (M size)

2ban:  Pizza-La - Teriyaki combi

Teriyaki pork, chicken, seaweed, egg, corn, mayo   2,257 yen (M size)

Praying dog

It's sooooooooooooooo cute.

This earnest dog is 1 1/2-year-old black-and-white Chihuahua named Conan.

At Naha's Shuri Kannondo temple in Okinawa, Conan joins in the daily prayers with his perfect manners.  Surprisingly, it took him only a few days to learn the motions. Wow.

The master, priest Joei Yoshikuni says, "I think he saw me doing it all the time and got the idea to do it, too,  Basically, I am just trying to get him to sit still while I meditate," he explained. "It's not like we can make him cross his legs"

Uniqlo Manga T-shirt

Uniqlo - Japan's leading casual clothing designer and operating many stores all over the world (it's like Gap) is celebrating "Shounen Sunday" and "Shounen Magazine's" (weekly comic magazines' for boys) 50th anniversary by selling t-shirts with some of the comic artist's drawings.

As of March 19, Uniqlo has released 10 different shirts, and some of the designs include "Gegege no Kitarou," "Case Closed," and "Ranma 1/2." Within the rest of the year, they are hoping to design at least 80 different styles of t-shirts.

The cost of a shirt is 1500 yen ($15), and sold in stores worldwide.

Sweet burger

This is not a joke; you can get them at "Mamido burger" in Shibuya, Tokyo... No wonder. 

Evangelion

"Evangelion - New theater version" a popular animated movie： In commemoration DVD special edition is being released on April 25 in Japan.
