Jun Togawa

When I read the article "Jun Togawa released a CD best album of the carrier generalization", I had a heart twinges.

Before Shiina Ringo and YUKI or any other Japanese punk girls, in 80's, watching her being fearfully nervously on TV (she was very popular in spite of being a heretical character), I was kind of pitiful. But I (of the child) liked sometimes her saying an interesting thing sharply incidentally.

While those " Fushigi chara (coming from Alice in the wonderland kind of girl)" girls fit into the world well after all, she couldn't be that way even she really wanted to be.

But I'm glad that she is still the Original Japanese Punk even she is close in 50 years old.

  "Net cafe refugees," young folks who live in 24 hour internet cafe and are feared to become a new class of working poor.  There are about 5,400 (by estimate) people in Japan according to the first fact-finding of Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. This is the number of who have no living address and stayed more than half in a week at net cafe.

Net cafe charges by hourly, 7 hour maximum stay and it's about 3-5 dollars (it depends) and serve drinks with free refill, PC access, manga, chair (not bed) in a tiny private room. 

There is not only the temporary laborers or simply homeless folks but also the young pregnant woman spend time there now.

She gets help from neither a parent nor a boyfriend, and look for a job by herself, alone.

" I'm looking for a apartment to live, but evrything is hard," There was a phone call to the public support from her, but the communication was cut off. 

Rescued girl

Yang (18 years old), the eleventh grader who took a class with 40 classmates at the time of earthquake outbreak in China.

Both her legs  were smashed  to the beam which collapsed, and it took 30 hours passed till she was found. However, her survival was confirmed, she was in danger of the collapse of the building if the rescue party move a beam and they couldn't be involved carelessly.

The choice whether or not they cut her both legs was not easy and It took 38 hours to decide.

The rescue party soon found  that legs had already necrotized by the pressure of the long time and sentenced her to cut off both legs.

She answered  "I am all right. There is no sense of the foot anymore" with smile.　A shout of joy and big applause to rescued Yang from a rescue party and the crowds.

Her blog was an extremely common diary when I read. she (her name is Kipi, b.t.w) talks about the recent trip to somewhere, the plants she bought, blah. I almost fell asleep.
But she, in the photograph is very unrealistic.

This unfamous girl looks really good in cosplay. She could be a next Tila Tequila. (... I don't know if it's good or not)   

But don't get the wrong idea, most of Japanese cosplay girls are like this.

Formar host sumo wrestler

Twenty year old Tomonori Yamashita is a high school drop out, a former host,and the future of sumo wrestler.

The host is the man who works at Host club. The most of customers are women who willing to spend a lot money for their favorite host boys.

The host knows how to treat and pumper their customers and have to be very funny to entertain,  to get the customer buy $2000 (or more) Dom Pérignon.

Although he id still underweight by 2 kilograms, he tries to gain it by eating 3 giant bowls of rice per meal.

I'm sure that many women would be happy to see his new sumo look.

Gal Sone

As of March 30, the cute eating contest champion "Gal Sone" has lost one of her contests. During a steak eating contest, she lost to a 44 year old woman by just 3 grams. Overall, she placed second in the competition and she swears to come back for revenge.

(How can skiny girl like her eat that much??)
